Ephesians 4:32

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32

Here is a verse that doesn't need much explaining, but certainly one that requires much application. I'm sure many of you like myself have a few people on your list that you know you need to soften up towards, forgive, and pursue peace with. Remember, Christ died while we were yet still sinners, and because we have been forgiven of so much, why would it be okay for us to hold onto our bitterness and anger?

When God had every right to impart judgment on us but rather showed us mercy and grace, we really have no leg to stand on when it comes to us wanting to stay mad, hold grudges, and refusing to forgive. He who has been forgiven much, loves much (Luke 7:47).
