2 Corinthians 6:10

...as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
2 Corinthians 6:10

This verse illustrates the life that Paul and the apostles lived. As true as it was for them, this verse is also true for each follower of Christ today.

Sorrows, some deep, will be ours at times. Though we bear the grief, we can confidently rejoice in our loving Father and the new life that we have in Jesus. His promises are sure, His loving care without bounds.

Our finances may have gone south, but the Lord can use you and me to make "many rich," simply by sharing the gospel of Christ with others, so that they too can know the wealth of His love. We may possess little of worldly wealth, but God has given to each believer "all things" that have everlasting value. Even "the kingdom" is yours! (Matthew 25:34).

It's precisely this Godly perspective that I need today, and maybe you do too. It's the "yets" in life, provided by the Lord, that He uses to lift our hope.
