Micah 6:8

He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8

Before this verse, The LORD looks into the heart of the children of Israel and they are asking the question, "What do you want from us, LORD? Make a sacrifice of calves, thousands of rams, or even my first born?!" The answer is given to them in verse 8 and it is for us as well. We find ourselves questioning the LORD, "What do you want from me? What should I do?!" But we often forget to check His Word to see what the answer actually is. God has never changed but we constantly do. He wants our hearts. He wants to walk with us as we go through life on Earth. Spend time reading His Word so you are not like the children of Israel, confused and asking God what you need to be doing, but rather sit at His feet, hear Him, and walk with the God of the universe.

Resting on Him,

Pastor Sean Boehm
