Micah 7:7

Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.
Micah 7:7

In the few verses that are before this one, Micah speaks about the condition of the Israelites. They were evil, there was no way around it. They were just in a terrible place spiritually. No longer following the Lord, the condition of man grew worse. That is what Micah was heavily reflecting on. There were no longer friends to trust, people were lying, sons and daughters were disobedient, and families did not get along.

Micah comes to this conclusion: I will first look to God. While I am looking to Him I will be waiting for Him. Lastly, while I am looking at Him and waiting upon Him, He will hear me. If you are feeling discouraged reading this, look to the LORD and wait upon the God of your salvation because while we are looking to Him, the rest of the troubles will seem to melt away.

Resting in Him,
