Leviticus 26:3-4

If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
Leviticus 26:3-4

Throughout the 26th chapter of Leviticus, the Lord tells the people of Israel the benefits of following His commandments. It's an important reminder to us that all we have in our lives is given to us by the Lord. Look at the verses above. Even the rain that falls and the trees yielding their fruit are related to the obedience to the Lord.

God told Israel to do some interesting things in the Law, the first five books of the Bible. He told them to take every seventh year off from farming their land and just depend on His provision. That doesn't sound right, yet it is if their trust is in the Lord.

If your life feels off and everything seems to be going wrong, examine yourself and see if there are commandments you're breaking or instructions you're ignoring. There is never anything more beneficial than walking in the Lord's ways.

Following Jesus,

Pastor Ron Kitchell
