Ecclesiastes 9:10

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
Ecclesiastes 9:10

The phrase "whatever your hand finds to do" is referring to works that are possible. There are a lot of things that our hearts would like to do, but we will never do them. It's good to have dreams, but if we are going to be useful for the kingdom of God, we cannot be content with merely making plans and discussing them with our friends. One task completed is worth a thousand good ideas. Rather than wait around for someone to take the lead, or for our situation to change, let's do what we "find to do" each and every day. Go about your daily life as if every task was a direct commandment from your King. Then, as you serve Jesus, be careful of how you do it. For when we serve Him, we must give Him everything. We must not offer Him our leftovers or our spare time. We must give Him our whole heart, soul, and strength.

Serving our King,
