Psalm 73:26

My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73:26

We are all much weaker than we would like to admit. But despite our constant weakness that comes from our human frailty, we can still have incredible victory. Victory over sin, depression, and anxiety; victory in every circumstance. But this victory requires that we understand where our strength comes from. As Jesus said, "He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5).

When we attempt to press on by our own strength, we are doomed to failure. But when we abide in Christ, spend time in the word, spend time in prayer, and spend time with the body, we are strong. God is always faithful to present His children with the vigor needed to reign as princes in the heavenly Kingdom. Trust on Him! Look to His power! "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" (Matthew 6:33).

Trusting in Him,
