Job 38:4

"Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding."
Job 38:4

The very first verse of the Bible is, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). People have been trying to dispute that verse ever since. Scientists nowadays will give credit for the creation of the universe to anybody but God, no matter how ridiculous the theory. It formed because of gravity, they might say, with no explanation of who created gravity. Some believe it all started with space aliens. These are the intellectuals to whom we're supposed to listen.

God asked Job where he was when the Lord was laying the foundations of the earth. He would ask the same of the evolutionists today. Their theories are just that, theoretical, with no proof behind them.

Yet, in the war against God and His word, it is the unproven musings of the scientists that are taught in the schools and in the media. Anybody that questions them is anti-intellectual or one of those dumb "Jesus freaks" who just ignores science. All of these people have to answer the same question asked to Job, where were you when God was creating the world?

Trusting God's Word,

Pastor Ron Kitchell
