Matthew 13:16-17

But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
Matthew 13:16-17

We know from scripture that there are more unbelievers in the world than believers at any one time because wide is the road that leads to destruction. Many people walk this earth and are deaf to the things of God. They can't see the truth if it hit them in the face. And truth be told, if not by God's grace on us, we wouldn't either. Western Christians have a knack for complaining about everything we don't have, but let's take a minute to praise God for the fact that we know, hear, and see the truth of God. That by His grace, we can know His Word and act on it and that we can see the world for what is and not be deceived. We have been given the greatest gift, the gift of sight! Not physical sight, but spiritual sight. The sight that takes us through the narrow path into eternity and right into the Father's arms.
