Hebrews 4:15,16

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Hebrews 4:15,16

Do you ever feel like you are not good enough? Have you ever thought, "How can God love me?" Often when someone compliments me, or says something positive, I'll fire back with, "You’re only saying that because you don't know me." Then I remember, God knows me. He knows everything about me -- every sin, every failure, every dark corner that I would like to hide away from the world.

Our past failures can discourage us from seeking God's presence in our lives. The goal of our enemy is that we would sit alone in the dark with our sins, never looking to overcome them. We feel unworthy to even ask for help. But thankfully, God provides mercy and grace in our time of need. There is no sin or failure that Jesus cannot sympathize with, because He has been through it all and has overcome.

And so, knowing this, let us come boldly, confident in the grace we have been given, trusting in the salvation we have in Jesus. Let us push on to the upward call of Christ.

Praying boldly,

Pastor Rod Harris
