WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Morningstar Christian Chapel Women’s Ministry Mission Statement: To teach, train, strengthen, and encourage the ladies at Morningstar in their faith and walk with the Lord Jesus Christ through study of the Word, diligent prayer, whole-hearted worship, and practical hands-on support and encouragement.

1Timothy 4:12 instructs us to, “Be an example of the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.” In God's description of the virtuous woman, we are told, “Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30) Through the many facets of the Women's Ministry, women will be encouraged and built up in their faith, and be used by the Lord to strengthen and support their sisters in Christ. These opportunities include: the Women’s Bible Study, Women’s Retreats, One-Day Conferences and Lunches, Teas, and Fellowship Nights. Also, we have Prayer Breakfasts, Prayer Meetings, and the Prayer Chain Ministry so that through the privilege of prayer we might experience the heart of God.
